Regularly checking trail cam pictures on the cameras without the “sending” option is essential when you are trying to get a particular animal or maybe you are just interested on what is happening around the salt lick or the feeding ground.
I still see many hunters checking their trail cameras using a laptop. But there are obviously better options. Pretty straightforward is to have two SD cards which we can
use to swap in the camera. But a very quick way to check the pictures is using a small SD card reader designed for smart phones.
When buying just consider the following things.
- USB type (Usually this is C)
- Make sure you get a version which supports multiple card options. Micro SD and SDHC are typically used.
I hope this trick helps you checking trail cam pictures faster and easier.
